E-passport services for Jordanians in Islamabad, Nicosia launched

AMMAN — E-services to issue permanent passports online for Jordanian citizens residing in Pakistan's Islamabad and Cyprus' Nicosia were launched in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Civil Status and Passport Department (CSPD) announced on Sunday.

CSPD Director General Fahed Omoush said that Jordanians residing in Pakistan and Cyprus can submit applications to receive services to issue, renew, and replace lost or damaged Jordanian passports electronically by visiting the following link: https://eservices.cspd.gov.jo, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Omoush said that the concerned Jordanian embassy will notify applicants electronically to complete the passport issuance procedures.

The director general noted that this e-service will be applied to other countries to serve all Jordanian expatriates, which would expedite procedures for issuing passports and sparing effort for Jordanians residing abroad.
