Dughmi conveys His Majesty’s greetings to Bahrain King

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi on Wednesday conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah's greetings to Bahrain King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Majesty's greetings came as King Hamad, at the Safaria Palace, received speaker of the Arab Parliament Adel Al Asoomi, Dughmi, as well as the heads of parliamentary delegations participating in the Bahrain-held conference to launch a document on education development in the Arab world under the slogan "Bahrain: the gateway to the development of education in the Arab world", the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Dughmi, during the meeting, highlighted the two kingdom's deep-rooted ties. Also on Thursday, Dughmi met Fawzia Bint Abdulla Zainal, speaker of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives and President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, with talks focusing on the importance of cooperation and coordination among Arab parliaments to face the regional challenges, Petra added.
