‘DoS delegation shares census technology expertise in US’

AMMAN — A delegation from the Department of Statistics (DoS) visited the US to share Jordanian expertise in using technology to conduct national censuses, the DoS said on Wednesday.

During the visit, which is part of the cooperation between the DoS and the US Census Bureau, the Jordanian delegation was briefed on US expertise in statistical surveys in all sectors using scanners to upload and process data, a DoS statement said.

The US bureau commended the Jordanian expertise in executing the census electronically in all of its stages using the latest available tools.
