Discount cards for servicemen to be issued under Royal directives

AMMAN — Under the Royal directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen.Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday tasked the director general of the Military Consumer Corporation with the issuance of smart shopping cards for servicemen and veterans of the JAF and security institutions.

The card would grant users a 10 per-cent discount on the value of monthly purchases for various goods at all military consumer corporations across the Kingdom and is scheduled to come into effect in January 2020.

Huneiti also instructed the allocation of sale points exclusive to servicemen and ex-servicemen for the provision of better services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
