Deputy army chief receives ranking German military official

AMMAN — Deputising for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, Assistant Chairman and Chief of Operations and Training Maj. Gen. Musleh Maaytah on Thursday received the Commander of the German Field Army Lt. Gen. Jorg Vollmer and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Maaytah and the guest delegation discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two countries particularly in defence matters, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
