AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Royal Court chief Yousef Issawi on Saturday attended the departure of a convoy including 90 Hajj pilgrims, which is dedicated to the families of security officers who died in the line of duty and injured servicemen, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Hajj is the greater Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca.

Issawi conveyed the King’s greetings to the pilgrims and his wishes for a safe pilgrimage to Mecca. 

A number of the beneficiaries, who are chosen according to a transparent set of criteria, expressed their thanks and appreciation of the Royal initiative.
