Deputising for King, Husni presents Centennial Medal to GID personnel

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), General Intelligence Department (GID) Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni on Monday presented the State Centennial Medal to a group of GID officers.

His Majesty had bestowed the State Centennial Medal on the GID during the Kingdom’s celebrations of the centennial for its role in homeland protection and development, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Husni conveyed the Supreme Commander’s greetings to the honoured officers and GID personnel. The director also congratulated the honoured officers and all GID personnel on this Royal gesture, paying tribute to the sacrifices of GID personnel throughout the history of the Kingdom.
