Conference offers platform to expand partnerships, showcase high-potential investment opportunities

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Tuesday attended the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) forum in Riyadh.

The conference, held under the theme “The Key to Prosperity,” brought together heads of state, senior officials, major investors and executives from leading international companies to discuss prospects for economic expansion and future-focused investment opportunities.

Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh said that Jordan’s participation highlights the Kingdom’s position as a safe and attractive investment destination in the region, according to a ministry statement.

He added that Jordan is presenting a portfolio of major, medium and small investment projects within an integrated vision aimed at enhancing the business environment and supporting sustainable economic growth.

Abu Ghazaleh highlighted Jordan’s role as a regional hub for logistics and trade, connecting markets across the region and supporting regional supply chains.

He also pointed to investment opportunities linked to recovery and reconstruction efforts in Syria, as well as initiatives to promote industrial cooperation through production and assembly partnerships targeting regional markets.

He stressed that the FII conference provides a key platform to expand investment partnerships and showcase high-potential opportunities across vital sectors, including transport, logistics, distribution, energy, tourism and technology.

Regarded as one of the world’s leading economic forums, the FII brings together more than 600 speakers across 250 sessions, addressing the balance between progress, innovation and resources. The event attracts over 8,000 participants from 90 countries, providing a global forum to discuss economic shifts and sources of future growth, the statement read.

Jordan’s participation this year underscores the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to strengthen confidence in its investment environment and enhance its regional and international standing, in line with the Economic Modernisation Vision 2033, which aims to attract high-quality investments and generate sustainable employment opportunities.
