AMMAN — Deputy Amman Mayor Mohammed Qaisi on Tuesday expressed the Greater Amman Municipality's (GAM) readiness to provide all support to Palestinian cities in implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah's directives.

Receiving a delegation from the Hebron municipality, Qaisi expressed admiration for the Palestinians' resilience in facing the Israeli occupation.

He stressed the importance of joint action between GAM and the Hebron municipality over the upcoming years in a way that serves both sides, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The delegates listened to a briefing on the GAM strategic plan for 2022-2026 that includes 212 projects and initiatives to realise 15 strategic purposes and 20 goals with a total value of JD918 million over the next five years.

Hebron Mayor Tawfiq Abu Sneineh said that the visit aimed at further enhancing relations between Amman and Hebron and coordinating efforts to implement several projects in light of obstacles imposed by Israel.
