‘Dangerous suspect’ arrested in Irbid

AMMAN — Criminal Investigation Department’s (CID) personnel have arrested a “dangerous suspect” wanted for 18 cases who had been in hiding for five years, the Public Security Department (PSD) announced on Saturday.

Northern region CID received a tip-off on the suspect’s safe house and followed up on it, according to a PSD statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. CID agents arrested the suspect in an ambush in Irbid and started an investigation, prior to referring him to the concerned authorities, the PSD added.
