Organised In cooperation with the USAID-funded Fiscal Reform II Project, the workshop focused on revising and evaluating the different components of the Single Window programme to ensure its successful implementation across all partner government agencies, according to a JCD statement released Monday.

The Single Window programme is an integrated electronic government-wide system that collects, processes and disseminates international trade data with minimal costs to the government, the private sector and the public.

“The Single Window programme is a one-stop-shop-like programme for customs procedures that not only speeds up the flow of goods in and out of Jordan but also helps improve Jordan’s business competitive edge,” the statement quoted JCD Director Brig. Gen. Munther Assaf as saying.
