AMMAN — The Ministry of Culture on Monday launched the second edition of Mawhebati (My Talent) competition as part of the national programme for nurturing talents, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Culture Minister Haifa Najjar said that the ministry seeks to provide a suitable environment where young talents, aged 10-20, can express their creativity.

The competition, celebrating the holy month of Ramadan and the Kingdom’s 76th Independence Day, features four different areas of creativity.

Participants will compete in the following areas: Literary text (poems and short stories), religious chants and Jordanian national songs, playing instruments, art and drama.

Supported by Al Hussein Fund for Excellence (HFE), the competition comprises 100 prizes, each at a value of JD100, with an additional prize for the top winner at each of the four fields of the competition.

The names of the winners will be announced through the ministry’s social media platforms and its official website.

Contestants are encouraged to visit the Mawhebati platform (https://mawhebati.gov.jo/) and fill out the participation form.
