AMMAN — Culture Minister Haifa Najjar and her Lebanese counterpart Mohammad Mortada on Thursday signed an agreement for the establishment of an executive cultural cooperation programme. Najjar said that Lebanon, as a “pioneer in publication”, is rich in cultural and artistic heritage, and indicated that the programme includes cooperation and coordination on heritage preservation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. For his part, Mortada said that Jordan and Lebanon enjoy many commonalities, adding that the agreement covers all aspects of culture and art.
