AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Thursday chaired a meeting of the Crown Prince Foundation's (CPF) Board of Trustees, during which he was briefed on the progress of the CPF's initiatives and future development plans.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince expressed his appreciation for the CPF's achievements and stressed the importance of a plan to assess the Foundation's initiatives and their impact on target groups. The CPF’s programmes, he said, must be designed to meet the youth’s needs, a Royal Court statement said.

His Royal Highness called for designing comprehensive and entrepreneurial programmes that take into account the interests of young people, enrich their expertise and improve their skills, stressing that the CPF’s initiatives should reflect ideas generated by youth so they can serve their communities and their country.

Chairman of the CPF’s Board of Trustees, Fawaz Zoubi, stressed the importance of supporting youth and helping them overcome obstacles they face, so they can become active and productive members of society.

He pointed out that the CPF would continue to enhance the competitiveness of young people and to qualify them to join the labour market, in addition to supporting innovation and leadership among the younger generation.
