AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein, during a visit to the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army on Sunday, affirmed that the security of Jordan and its people, as well as its territorial integrity are above any other consideration.

The Crown Prince expressed his confidence in the efficiency and readiness of the JAF in defending the Kingdom’s skies and land, praising the pivotal role of the Armed Forces in protecting Jordanians, according to a Royal Court statement.

His Royal Highness was briefed by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on the most recent developments, in light of tensions in the region and mechanisms to deal with potential security risks.

The Crown Prince emphasised the importance of citizens ensuring the information they receive is from reliable sources, expressing confidence that misinformation and systematic campaigns negatively targeting Jordan will not affect Jordanians and their confidence in state institutions, the statement said.
