AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Thursday expressed pride in the performance of Jordanian referees at the FIFA World Cup 2026, expressing pride in their success at the global tournament.
During a meeting with referees Adham Makhadmeh, Mohammad Khalaf and Ahmad Rouaily, the Crown Prince said, “Jordanians are capable of reaching the highest international standards across various fields through ambition and hard work,” the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Crown Prince, in the presence of HRH Prince Ali, president of the Jordan Football Association, stressed the importance of working with the association to develop programmes to enhance the performance of Jordanian referees and enable them to benefit from the experience gained during the tournament.
The Crown Prince wished the referees continued success in officiating more international matches at international tournaments.
