AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Monday inaugurated Deloitte’s Jordan Digital Centre in Amman.
The centre will offer a range of technology solutions, including digital transformation, data and analytics, human capital, advertising, marketing and e-commerce, and client-specific solutions for public and private sector clients in the region, according to a Royal Court statement.
Crown Prince Hussein said the centre advances Jordan as a regional and international ICT hub, and provides opportunities for young Jordanians to learn, build their capacities, and hone their skills.
For his part, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmad Hanandeh said opening the centre is in line with Jordan’s Economic Modernisation Vision, noting that the Kingdom is an attractive destination for investments in ICT, due to its well-equipped digital infrastructure, qualified human resources, and investment-friendly regulations.
CEO of Consulting at Deloitte Middle East Rashid Bashir said inaugurating an advanced digital centre in Jordan is an important step towards the progress of the business ecosystem in the region.
According to Bashir, the centre currently has 90 employees, with a plan to increase the number to 350 over the next years.
