Crown Prince Award for Best Government Services application open until September 15

AMMAN — The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship on Tuesday called on students of Jordanian universities and beneficiaries of the One Million Jordanian Coders Initiative to apply for the Crown Prince Award for the Best Government Services Application until September 15. The ministry said that the participants should submit a nomination via the website https://cpgovappaward.jo and attach a three-minute video explaining the application, alongside a simulation of the application or software development tools, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The award aims to encourage Jordanian students to create innovative solutions in the mobile app field and develop a tool that will enhance governmental services in health, education, transport, tourism, agriculture and food security, digital economy, finance, service sector and government communication sectors. The total prize fund is JD100,000, distributed as follows: First place wins JD50,000, second place JD30,000, and third place JD20,000. The results will be announced in November.
