CPF announces winners of Arab Youth Hackathon

AMMAN — The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) in partnership with the Arab Youth Centre (AYC) on Sunday announced the winners in the Arab Youth Hackathon. Bilqis Baslum and Samah Melibari from Saudi Arabia were nominated for the first place for developing "Etmaen" (reassure) e-platform aimed at providing individual and community psychological support during crises.

Fatima and Amina Al Hammadi from the UAE won the second place for developing a comprehensive digital platform that offers “unique” educational and learning alternatives.

The third place went to Mazen Sirwan, Rita Battman, Mohammed Hariri and Zeina Massad from Syria, who created the "Doroub" initiative, a virtual educational platform that employs digital technologies to build a communication bridge between young people in Syria and the world.

CPF CEO Tamam Mango, during the virtual ceremony, said that the participants have provided “creative solutions that will help in facing the challenges and transforming them into opportunities” with the use of technology, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
