Court to resume hearing of witnesses in ‘tobacco case’

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) will hear the testimonies of defence witnesses in the so-called “tobacco case” on Tuesday, said SSC Presiding Judge Mohammad Afif.
Since the start of the trial on March 12, the SSC has heard the testimonies of 26 defence witnesses in the case involving 29 defendants, out of whom six are at large, in addition to 24 companies, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
