Court clears defendant of terrorism charges

AMMAN — The State Security Court on Monday found a defendant, who was charged with attempting to join Daesh and engage in acts that threaten the Kingdom’s security, not guilty.
The court’s military panel also held hearings to examine cases of defendants charged with promoting and joining armed groups and recruiting others.
