Coordination with Qatar over job opportunities ongoing — Khleifat

AMMAN — Labour Ministry Secretary General Hani Khleifat, who also heads the executive technical committee for jobs in Qatar, on Thursday said that the panel has reviewed and analysed data registered at www.jqpee.jo, adding that the platform has received some 136,000 valid applications so far.
Khleifat said that coordination with the Qatari side to provide new jobs in the nursing and agricultural sectors is ongoing, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. In June, Qatar pledged to offer 10,000 jobs to Jordanians and provide $500 million in investment projects to support the Kingdom’s infrastructure and development projects.
