AMMAN — A convoy of steel-laden trucks was moved from the joint Jordanian-Syrian Free Zone on Monday to a designated protected area, according to Khaled Rahahleh, the zone’s deputy director general.
The 15-truck convoy was moved in cooperation with the Jordan Customs Department and other security services working in the zone, Rahahleh said.
He added that more convoys will be moved on Tuesday, adding the expected time to conclude the transfer depends on investors, who are responsible for transportation.
