Conference participants call for forming council to supervise energy strategy

AMMAN — Participants at the fifth international conference for “Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in Desert Areas” recommended on Sunday establishing a Jordanian energy council to follow up on implementing the national energy strategy within a clear timetable.
Participants also called for harnessing the available energy resources in the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
