CID arrests two suspects in petrol station robberies

AMMAN — Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel have arrested two suspects in a series of armed robberies on petrol stations, a Public Security Department statement said on Thursday.

The CID received several tip-offs about robberies of petrol stations, which followed the same modus operandi.

The suspects were subsequently arrested in a raid and two firearms were seized, along with ammunition.
