Ceremony marks int’l day against drug abuse

AMMAN — The Public Security Department’s Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) on Thursday held a ceremony, marking International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

AND Ddirector Col. Sami Hmeisat highlighted the collective responsibility of individuals and countries in combating illicit drugs. The ceremony featured performances showing the dangers of drug abuse and the suffering of the families of drug addicts, as well as means of prevention.
