AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Sunday cautioned the public against phishing and pop-ups claiming that the bank offers grants and assistance. The CBJ urged the public not to respond to these malicious e-content that aim to hack users’ phones.
The CBJ said that several attempts using the name of the bank via fake pop-ups have been detected, urging the public to visit the bank’s website to verify the ads and publications and not get scammed, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
