Cassation Court president, German official talk judicial cooperation

AMMAN — President of Court of Cassation and Jordanian Judicial Council (JJC), Mohammad Ghazo on Wednesday met State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Justice in Germany Angelika Schlunck, over enhancing judicial cooperation.

During the meeting, Ghazo emphasised the need to enhance cooperation in emerging judicial issues and to exchange expertise, notably in the field of “automating litigation procedures”, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Schlunck said the Jordanian-German partnership seeks to hold judicial training courses, meetings and mutual visits. Also on Wednesday, Ghazo met with a Libyan delegation to discuss means of enhancing judicial cooperation. The Libyan guest delegation’s agenda includes visits to the Court of Cassation’s technical office, the Judicial Institute of Jordan and several courts in Amman, Petra added.
