Cabinet reviews report on public sector performance

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday reviewed a report prepared by the Ministry of Public Sector Development on 21 international indicators concerned with public sector performance.

The Council of Ministers was also briefed on the number of violations related to illegal logging and approved the mandating reasons for the amended draft by-law on the pension fund for agricultural engineers and referred it to the Legislation and Opinion Bureau for endorsement.

The Cabinet also approved a memorandum of understanding intended to be signed between the Public Sector Development Ministry and the Irish Department of Public Expenditure and Reform to exchange expertise in public administration.
