Cabinet endorses Awqaf Ministry’s bylaw of administrative organisation

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday endorsed the 2020 bylaw of the administrative organisation of the Awqaf Ministry. Amendments to the bylaw included restructuring the ministry's directorates and cancelling or merging some of them, in addition to establishing new directorates in light of the development of the ministry's activities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Also on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved the resignation of Jordan Investment Commission President Khalid Wazani, where Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh decided to name commission Secretary General Faridon Hartouqa as acting president.
The Cabinet also decided to refer Water Ministry Secretary General Ali Suboh to retirement upon his request.
