AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday approved a cooperation agreement between the ministries of planning and international cooperation and industry, trade and supply with the International Finance Corporation on a project for the reform of business registration and licenses with a value of $3.5 million.
The project aims at providing technical support to implement a sustainable business register through supporting legal, institutional and administrative reforms and automating licensing and permits, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Council of Ministers also approved a memorandum of understanding with the South African government to hold regular consultations at the level of senior officials to enhance bilateral ties.
The Cabinet also approved the mandating reasons for a draft law amending the funds of officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security apparatuses who died in the line of duty.
