Cabinet approves mandating reasons for e-payment draft by-law

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the mandating reasons for the electronic payment and transactions draft by-law for 2017, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The decision hopes to aid in the transformation to a digital economy, Petra reported, while also ensuring the effective financial monitoring of governmental institutions and the Central Bank of Jordan monitoring of payment and electronic money transfer activities in order to protect consumers’ payments.
