AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the Jerash tourism development plan for 2021-2025, directing the concerned agencies to begin implementation. The plan aims to upgrade infrastructure and basic services in Jerash and improve the governorate’s tourist and ancient sites, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the session, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Al Fayez said that the plan was developed in coordination with the related bodies and the participation of the local community.
The Council of Ministers also decided to appoint Manar Dabbass as the Kingdom’s ambassador to the UK, and to nominate Muhib Al Nimrat to serve as ambassador to Norway, Petra added.
