Bridegroom, farm owner get jail terms for violating defence orders

AMMAN — A bridegroom was sentenced to six months in prison after violating defence orders. The man has held a wedding reception with about 300 attendants at a farm in Zarqa and he used a helicopter to arrive at the reception.
The owner of the farm also received a six-month jail term for violating Defence Order No.16 related to a COVID-19 ban on public gatherings exceeding 20 people, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
