Body found in King Talal Dam

AMMAN — Security personnel on Sunday evening found a body in the King Talal Dam. Media spokesperson for the Public Security Department (PSD) said in a statement that the body was transferred to postmortem, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He added that laboratory and forensic procedures were started to determine the identity of the body, and to verify whether it is the body of Hamza Khatib, a young man who was washed away by torrential waters in Wadi Al Qamar in Zarqa about a month ago.

The spokesperson conveyed condolences to the family of the deceased.
