AMMAN — Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa on Saturday said that the ministry is working to enhance the productivity of underprivileged families through establishing small, developmental projects that are implemented through the ministry, charity organisations and community development centres, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Inaugurating an exhibition of small business products by National Aid Fund beneficiaries, she said that the ministry will work in the coming period to develop small projects and transform them into large ones gradually.
A number of 130 small business projects from several governorates in the Kingdom are participating in the exhibition funded by Novo Nordisk, led by the Danish Refugee Council, and in cooperation with the Jordan River Foundation and Mercy Corps with the aim of giving participants the chance to promote their products, and enter the labour market.
