Balanced foreign policy key factor in Kingdom’s successful relations — Fayez

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s foreign policy, led by His Majesty King Abdullah, has proven successful in maintaining the country’s political, economic and social security, Senate President Faisal Fayez said on Sunday.

Heading part of a meeting held by the Arab and International Affairs and Expatriates Committee in the Senate, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Fayez said that the Kingdom enjoys a balanced foreign policy with all countries, based on moderation and non-interference in others’ affairs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Safadi said that the Kingdom’s foreign policy aims to serve Jordanian interests through the “distinguished” network of relations with Arab and foreign countries, noting that the Palestinian cause comes at the top of Jordan’s priorities. Head of the committee, Senator Nasser Louzi, voiced the panel’s keenness to always be acquainted with the latest developments of the Kingdom’s ties with the world and its stances on international issues.
