Baking, dough cutting deemed ‘hazardous jobs’

AMMAN — The jobs of bakers and dough cutters are now classified as “hazardous” professions, Social Security Corporation (SSC) Spokesperson Musa Sbeihi said on Wednesday.

An SSC statement quoted him as saying that any parties working in the field of baking through manual labour should supply the SSC with a list of employees’ names and should also pay an additional 1 per cent for the social security subscription.
