AMMAN — The Iraqi Ministry of Trade and the State Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services (SCIFCS) agreed to allocate an area within the Baghdad International Fair (BIF) to hold a permanent or seasonal exhibition for Jordanian industries and an office for the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI).
Industry, Trade and Supply Minister Maha Al Ali on Wednesday stressed, during her visit accompanied by a delegation to the SCIFCS headquarters, the importance of continuing efforts to enhance economic cooperation and discuss opportunities for integration in the industrial sector with Iraq.
Earlier, the minister met with Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals Manhal Khabbaz and Trade Minister Alaa Jbouri, and toured BIF's premises, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
