Azeri ambassador hails Jordan’s anti-annexation drive

AMMAN — Azeri Ambassador to Jordan Rasim Rzayev on Monday praised Jordan’s efforts, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, in supporting the Palestinian cause and stand against the Israeli plan to annex Palestinian lands, voicing his country’s support to the Kingdom in this regard.

During a press conference, Rzayev said that Jordan plays a “vital and influential” role in a “turbulent region” to end regional crises and achieve peace and stability, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The diplomat also reviewed Jordanian-Azeri relations that have witnessed several achievements at the political and economic levels.
