Ayla, Naua sign agreement to promote volunteer, charity work

AMMAN — Ayla Oasis Development Company and Naua, one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation, have signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at promoting voluntary work and giving back to the community.

Under the agreement, both sides will cooperate in several aspects, most notably contributing to preparing activities and projects that improve society and spread the culture of giving and social responsibility, according to a statement from the company.

The two sides will also cooperate in preparing a strategy that contributes to measuring the efficiency of social responsibility and promoting a culture of voluntary work and community service.

The agreement also aims to evaluate the impact of the initiatives supported by Ayla to achieve the positive impact for the local community in Aqaba and to encourage, empower and train employees to engage in volunteer work to contribute to community service, in addition to joint cooperation and coordination in developing plans that build capacities and skills.

Commenting on signing the agreement, Ayla’s Managing Director Sahl Dudin, said: “At Ayla, we are proud of this strategic partnership with Naua, aiming at institutionalising voluntary and charitable work activities at the national level, which contribute to the integration of roles between the private sector and charitable and social institutions. We expect great results from this partnership due to the great national role that Ayla and Naua play in the effective contribution, socially and charitably.” 

The director of the Naua initiative, Ahmad El Zubi, valued Ayla’s role in the charitable and humanitarian field, in the youth sector, health, education, higher education, environment and others, noting that this partnership will enable Ayla to enhance the roles of community empowerment and easily reach the target groups and sectors, while ensuring delivering support for those who deserve it.
