Authorities arrest ‘armed and dangerous’ fugitive in Sahab

AMMAN — Personnel with the Badia district Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Wednesday arrested a fugitive in the Sahab area and seized his weapon, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

A Public Security Department (PSD) statement said that the CID received information on the suspect’s whereabouts, leading to his arrest. The detainee has a criminal record and is classified as “armed and dangerous”, according to the PSD.

During the arrest, the suspect shot at the officers and tried to escape, but they managed to apprehend him, the statement added.
