AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) on Thursday said that a total of 331 vehicles were impounded and 827 persons were arrested in the past 24 hours for violating the curfew, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In a statement, the PSD spokesperson said that seized vehicles will be transferred to the designated holding yards in Swaqa and Muwaqqar and the vehicles’ owners will incur all due costs upon retrieving them after one month.

He added that PSD personnel are working around the clock to control violations against the orders issued under the Defence Law, stressing that these orders are applied “without compromise or discrimination”.
