Audit Bureau presents its 2020 report to PM

AMMAN — The Audit Bureau on Wednesday submitted a copy of its 2020 report to Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh.

The premier stressed the government’s commitment to addressing any violations or shortcomings the report may present to protect public money, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The prime minister also highlighted the government's keenness to adopt an open policy and fully cooperate with the Audit Bureau, adding that the government and all public institutions will answer the inquiries that the bureau might have on any suspected violation.

The premier pledged full support to the Audit Bureau and regulatory bodies to protect public money and promote national integrity. President of the Audit Bureau Asem Haddad said that the report is published on the bureau's website for the public to view.
