AMMAN — In cooperation with the Jordan Customs Department (JCD) personnel, Border Guards at the Jaber border crossing have foiled an attempt to smuggle 200,000 Captagon pills hidden inside a truck laden with fruits coming from a neighbouring country with a foreign licence plate.
JCD personnel also seized 2.5kg of crystal meth hidden under the windshield wiper blades of a public transport vehicle with a foreign plate also coming from a neighbouring country.
The JCD and security agencies work side by side to protect Jordan's citizens and economy from smuggling attempts, especially narcotics, according to a JCD statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
