Attempt to smuggle 110,000 narcotic pills foiled

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel have foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotic pills, the Public Security Department (PSD) said Wednesday.

AND personnel tracked down two suspects planning to smuggle drugs out of the country, stopping their vehicle and arresting them, the PSD said, noting they were in possession of 110,000 narcotic pills and were referred to court after questioning.
