AMMAN — Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel on Saturday foiled an attempt to sell fake currency and arrested two suspects, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson.

CID agents had received a tip-off about two suspects with criminal records to sell counterfeit currency for some $500,000, the spokesperson said as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
