AMMAN — Air defence systems intercepted and shot down three Iranian missiles that entered the Kingdom’s airspace on Friday morning, the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) said.
The source said that the interception operation resulted in no causalities or material damage, adding that the Royal Engineering Corps teams dealt with the debris that fell in several locations according to established technical and security protocols.
He added that JAF continues to monitor Jordanian airspace and track developments with the highest levels of readiness.
The military urged citizens to rely only on official statements issued by the JAF and competent authorities, and to avoid spreading rumours or unverified information.
