AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) said on Tuesday that Iran had targeted the Kingdom with four missiles over the past 24 hours, all of which were intercepted and destroyed by the Royal Jordanian Air Force.
JAF Media Directorate said in a statement that the missiles were intercepted “with full professionalism.”
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that its relevant units had dealt with 17 reports of falling shrapnel and projectiles over the past 24 hours, with no injuries reported except for some minor material damage.
The PSD renewed warnings to the public against gathering near, approaching or tampering with any suspicious objects or shrapnel, citing potential risks.
While urging citizens to follow official instructions and guidance issued through authorised channels, PSD also called on the public to report any suspicious items to security services via the emergency number 911.
