AMMAN — A military source from the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army said that forces in the northern military area on Sunday stopped four suspects who attempted to enter Jordan from Syria, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The source said that, after applying rules of engagement, the suspects retreated to Syria. After searching the area, soldiers seized 549,000 Captagon pills, 122 palm-sized sheets of hashish, and 8,550 Tramadol bars. Another infiltration attempt was prevented, where three suspects were arrested after applying rules of engagement and then referred to the concerned authorities.
